Pencil with Ghosted Image
I have developed a "ghosted image" technique that allows me to hide secondary images in my work. By keeping the pencil strokes going either
horrizontally or vertically, I can create lines where different sections of the drawing come together that are only visible when
you ignore the photographic image. The above sample has words "ghosted" into it, touch the image with your mouse to reveal the technique.
This technique is great for showing personal traits about my subjects...whether it be an image of a sport they like to play, an
instrument they enjoy, or (in the case of the sample above) words used by a poet.
