	News Archive Jason was awarded second place in the "Postcards from Venus" art contest presented by the Planetary Society and the European Space Agency! The international contest requested entries that showed a concept of the planet Venus, see contest winners Jason has had a piece selected for the first Northeast Florida Juried Show at Wall Art Gallery in Fernandina Beach, FL. Twelve artists were chosen to exhibit in the gallery show. These artists represent the three top place artists and those receiving Honorable Mention. The piece chosen was the painting "Sunday Afternoon" Jason finished his entry for the Red Bull Art of the Can contest, check it out! His design has been selected to be shown during the exhibition, meaning he is in the running for the top prize! Jason donated a commission to the ARTreach charity auction that took place Thursday March 23rd. On display was his piece titled "Ever After." Participants were able to bid on a custom pencil commission by Jason. Jason was featured in an article for the August 12, 2005 edition of Downtown This Week, a local magazine for Jacksonville, Florida that highlights events and happenings around town. Click here to go to the story! The August 3rd (2005) Art Walk was a great success. More than 300 people stopped in to the Florida Theatre to see Jason's work. Thank you to everyone who came out.
